Most of my theories about how Mariska died so young in the first place have to do with drug problems (overdoses, an accident while high on Acid). However, another theory of mine states that she committed suicide after Meredith Hunter was killed at Altamont. [link] [link] Keep in mind that the Hippy movement was one for peace and this was a life taken in cold-blooded murder. Mariska probably knew that the hippie movement had lost all of its credibility because of that and because she was so young, she felt that she couldn't go on with living anymore.
